Shortly before the Ottobar opened on Davis St. the punk/indie dive of choice was South Baltimore’s Memory Lane. More of a neighborhood bar that agreed to do shows than an actual rock club, Memory Lane was the place in the mid-1990’s to see everybody from Napalm Death to Lungfish.
