I loved Memory Lane, first place I started seeing music after moving to Baltimore. Loved the old folks running the bar, and how different bands would make use of the stripper pole. Saw Lungfish for the first time there, an almost empty show(?!) when they were between bassists. I have a probably horrible-sounding walkman recording of that show somewhere, and also Ultra Bide and maybe some more, will have to find some day. Lots of good times getting drunk with great music before I knew a single soul in this city.
from the left:
1. some dude
2. Emmanuel (More Dogs, Thank You, etc.)
3. some girl I recognize from shows years ago but never knew
4. Guy Blakeslee (Convocation Of…, Entrance, and that emo band with Cex)
4. some dude I used to ONLY see at shows wearing a red “International Soundscape Internationale” tshirt.
5. Mark from Oxes
6. Another vaguely familiar dude
7. Mr. Blurry
